There are a variety of ways to support our work, including secure online donations, becoming a corporate sponsor, legacy giving, or donating goods to our social enterprise thrift shop.

Monthly Giving

Monthly Giving

Sustained giving allows for sustained opportunities. Monthly donors provide stability that helps us retain experienced staff, maintain quality programs, and expand our reach in the community.

Corporate and Foundation Support

Corporate and Foundation Support

Companies and foundations have the opportunity to demonstrate commitment and social responsibility by investing in Allied’s mission. We’ll partner with you to find shared philanthropic goals and celebrate your generous contributions in our community.

Sports & Recreation

Sports & Recreation

Our Sports & Recreation program provides year-long social and physical activities for adults with disabilities. These programs are not funded by the state of Connecticut and rely solely on grants, corporate giving, fundraisers, and donations from generous individuals like you.

Tributes and Memorial Gifts

Tributes and Memorial Gifts

Commemorate special occasions – birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and retirements – with a tribute gift. Donors may also consider memorial gifts in honor of a loved one.

Ruth Bonney Dream Fund

Ruth Bonney Dream Fund

The Ruth Bonney Dream Fund was established in March 2012 to honor the memory of Ruth Bonney, a visionary teacher of people with disabilities who saw potential in everyone.

The Dream Fund enables individuals with intellectual disabilities in our residential program to participate in a variety of cultural, recreational, travel, and other opportunities in and around their communities. Participants may request assistance from the fund for things such as trips, sporting events, theater excursions, personal items, classes, and special events.

Fundraising Events and In-Kind Giving

Fundraising Events and In-Kind Giving

Support our fundraising events monetarily or by donating gift certificates for raffles. Gifts in kind are contributions of goods – e.g., auction items or supplies – to be used in our programs or our fundraising events. Gifts may qualify as a charitable tax deduction.
